Carole Marie Wangler

April 4, 1953 — April 2, 2024

Carole Marie (Halstead) Wangler, age 70, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home in Arlington, Texas. She was born April 4, 1953, in Columbus, Georgia to Tully Ralph and Martha Alice Halstead.

She was raised and enjoyed her early years in Georgia, but moved to Texas to start a family in the early 1970’s. She gave birth to a son in 1973 and then a daughter in 1977. Unfortunately, her daughter, Jennifer Christine, passed away, but the exposure to the hospital setting inspired her to study nursing. After graduating from nursing school, Marie worked as an LVN for 35 years. She went on to have another daughter in 1983.

It wasn’t until 1998 that Marie met the love of her life, Ron Wangler. Marie and Ron were married on December 19, 2005, and have been happily married ever since. Marie lived an energetic and fun life. Spending time with friends and family was her favorite thing to do. She loved the thrill of buying and selling things and if anyone was in need, she was the first person to volunteer to help. She had a servant's heart and deeply impacted anyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Paul Wangler, Sr.; brother, Ralph William “Bill” Halstead; children, David Marcus Ciccarelli and Jessica Alice (Ludrick) Mitchell; grandchildren, Chelsea Sierra (Ciccarelli) Von Tungeln, Lauren Allison Mitchell, Kaitlyn Alexandra Mitchell; and great-grandchildren, Roderick Clayton Von Tungeln, and Annastasia Isabella Von Tungeln.

Family and friends are invited to dress in cheerful colors and celebrate her life on Saturday, April 13th at 12:00 p.m. at Thompson's Harveson and Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd, Fort Worth.
