Charles Hallman, 81, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024.


Services: A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76114.


Charles was born on Tuesday December 1, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas to Wayne and Gladys Hallman.


He proudly served in the U.S. Navy before continuing his career in both the Navy and at General Dynamics. Later, he joined Hallman Construction, working alongside his father and brother. In 1974, Charles began a dedicated 34-year career with Lockheed Martin, retiring in 2008.


On November 29, 1997, Charles married Brenda Noah Hallman, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Charles was known for his love of dancing, karaoke, and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and had a deep affection for dogs and birds.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Gladys Hallman.


Charles is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his sons, Todd Hallman, Michael Hallman, and Cody Downs; brother Phil Hallman and wife Joella Hallman; sister, Linda Gartman and husband Jay Gartman; grandchildren, William Hallman, Chase Hallman, Jauna Johnson, Carly Hallman, Anna Downs, William Downs, and Jackson Downs; great-grandchildren, Emmett Hallman and Cutter Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
