Dakota Chase Mackey

Dakota Chase Mackey, 27, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dakota was born on April 26th, 1995, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a multi-media artist, known for his ability to create incredible paintings and sculptures. As a kinesthetic learner, he loved working with his hands on many projects, including gardening, construction, and excelling at welding. Music also had a profound effect on his life. He always took advantage of an opportunity to play guitar, because his love of music and song writing brought him so much joy. He was incredibly charming, exceptionally smart, and had a sense of humor and wit that would make you laugh until you literally cried. He was endearing to all. His larger-than-life personality made his presence immediately known in any room. His family loved him so much and he will be tremendously and dearly missed.

Dakota is survived by his two children, Riley and Cooper Mackey; and their mother, Felicia Ibarra; parents, Melanie and Justin Martin, Chad Mackey, and Ruthie Muentes; siblings, Caitlyn, Ashlyn, Delaney, and Samara Mackey, Anthony, Dominick and Leila Ezell; grandmother, Sandra Moore; nieces, Claire and Carolynn Ezell; nephew, Romeo Mireles; and a host of other family and friends.

Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, Thompson's Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76114.

A reception will be held on Thursday, Dec 22 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Thompson's Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76114.
