Jerry Randolph Bartley, 82, passed away October 12, 2021, with his wife, Dalia “Dottie”, by his side.Jerry was born September 3, 1939, in Elkhorn City, Kentucky to Evelene and Alvin Bartley Jr. Jerry joined the United States Air Force in April 1956 and honorably served his country. After serving in Korea, he was transferred to Good Fellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX. This is where he met the love of his life, Dottie. They married in 1958 and had 4 children. During this time, he was also a proud member of the American Legions. Following his 6 years of service to his country, he had a distinguished, 25-year career at Bell Helicopter.Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and traveling around the country in their RV with Dottie and family. Throughout his life, Jerry loved Kentucky Wildcats basketball and everything UK.Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Bartley Jr. & Evelene Stapleton Bartley; brother, David Lee Bartley; daughter, Evelene Bartley; and loving son, Gary Wayne Bartley.Survivors: His wife of 63 years, Dalia Bartley; son, Jerry Steven Bartley and wife Jay of Aledo, TX; daughter, Teresa B. Jackson and husband Jeff of Pollok, TX; stepsons, Pete Guebara and wife Diane of San Angelo, TX, Bernie Guebara and wife Beatrice, of San Angelo, TX, George Guebara and wife Gloria of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Hayden Bartley and fiancé Chelsea Scott, Cameron Jackson and wife Caitlyn, Preston Bartley and wife Taylor, George Guebara and wife Katie, Brandie Jackson, Adrian Guebara and wife Stephanie, Fabian Guebara, Rebecca Guebara Lozano, Stephen Guebara, Gabriela Guebara; and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren Bartley and wife Judy of Kingsland, TX, Randall Bartley and wife Pam of Ashcamp, KY; sister, Debbie Kanipe and husband Jerry of Conover, NC.
