Kiran J. Dave , 81, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Born in Mumbai, India, Kiran built a remarkable life rooted in care, intellect, and joy. As a skilled orthopedic surgeon, he dedicated his career to healing others, and outside of work, he embraced life fully — whether cheering for a cricket match, enjoying a game of tennis, traveling the world, following the stock market, or simply sharing a scotch and soda with dear friends. His zest for life and magnetic personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Kiran cherished his family above all. He is survived by his beloved wife, Arvinda Dave ; his children, Varshal Dave (Maureen) and Tejal Wible (Jason) ; and his adored grandchildren, Zara, Nikhil, Elena, and Bela . He was preceded in death by his parents, Jayendra and Mrudula , and his siblings Dharmendra, Kunta, Bhupesh, Prabhuta, and Kush .

Kiran was known for his warmth, humor, and optimism. A true force of nature, he had an infectious spirit and often reminded those around him: "Be happy and don't worry." His light will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

As a tribute to Kiran, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
