Lura Beth Withers

Lura Beth Withers, TCU Class of ’49, died on June 14, 2021. She was born March 4, 1929 in Fort Worth to Otis and Kate Braswell Withers. She spent as much time as she could travelling the world, first as an employee of the Foreign Service of the Department of State and later working in the travel business. In retirement, she volunteered at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the National Archives.She is survived by a nephew, a niece, five great nieces and nine assorted great-great nieces and nephews and her good friend, Judy Gillette.
