Mary Frances Garner

Mary Frances Garner, 69, died peacefully in her home on Friday, June 18, 2021 after a battle with cancer.Mary was born May 17, 1952 in Mexico, Missouri and grew up in Palmyra, Missouri. She married Paul Garner in 1970 and moved to Texas in 1983. They have two daughters, Melissa and Jennifer.Mary was a pre-K teacher for many years in Arlington and Mansfield and enjoyed her retirement in 2017. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ in Fort Worth and loved teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Mary was a two-time breast cancer survivor.Survivors include her husband, Paul Garner of Rendon, Tx; her daughters, Melissa Reininger and husband, Brent, of Mansfield, and Jennifer Carter and husband, Derek, of Arlington; grandchildren, Joshua Reininger of Mansfield, Matthew Reininger of Mansfield, Thomas Carter of Arlington, and Shea Lee Carter of Arlington; brother, Joe Fox and his wife, Pat, of Copperas Cove; and sister, Barb Patterson and husband, Larry, of Palmyra, Mo.
