Mickey S. Mims, 80, passed away February 22, 2024.

Visitation: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at First Assembly of God, 3330 SW Wilshire Blvd., Joshua, Texas.

Interment: Crowley Cemetery.

Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Mickey Stancil Mims was born August 11, 1943 in Parker County, Texas, the son of George Stancil Mims and Dessie Fae Lee Mims.  He worked as a mechanic for General Motors and retired as a bookkeeper with Ram Steel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty McLain Mims; brothers, George and Roger Mims; son, Greg; daughter, Cyndi; and granddaughter, Dree.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Mims (Annemarie); grandchildren, Cody Stinson (Erin), Joey Mims (Emily) and Ashley Arnold (Enrique); eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; siblings, Connie Frazier and Ronnie Mims (Sis); sister-in-law, Shirley Mims; nephews and nieces and many members of the McLain Family.
