Pat Parker Jones

Pat Parker-Jones, 84, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, departing peacefully in her sleep. A life-long resident of Amarillo, she had moved to North Texas in 2017 to be closer to her children.Born Patricia Ann Inglis in Bonham, TX, February 10th, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Louise Howard and Paul Inglis, and a daughter, Kim Gilley.She is survived by her children: Richard Frank and wife Sharon, Pamela Ellis and husband Royce, James Parker and wife Teri, and Michael Parker; grandchildren, Kari, Christopher, and Matthew Ellis; Nick, Alex, Sean and Christopher Frank; and Nathan Parker; great-grandchildren, Izaya, Zayne, Benny and James. They were the joy of her later years.She enjoyed socializing with friends and playing dominos, cards and bingo, but nothing brought her greater joy than her great-grandchildren.
