Patricia Ann Christensen

Patricia Ann Christensen passed away on July 1st, 2023.

Patricia was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Morris Delaney Walker and Iva Lee Standridge (Pat) on January 29th, 1943. She married Steven Roberts Christensen, a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy.

Having strong organizational and leadership skills, Patricia began her career in nursing in Virginia Beach in 1976. She served as a maternity nurse at SHAPE, Belgium, and was the Director of Nursing at St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

After retiring, Patricia enjoyed teaching nursing at Tarrant County College. She was a strong contributing member of Meadowbrook Poly United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

She is survived by her loving family: her children, Steff Christensen and Shelly Burbank; niece, Nancy Gerber; grandchildren, Britt and Walker Burbank; great grandchildren, Auriah, Farrah, and Asura Warren; and her sister, Delaina Walker Batson.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Meadowbrook Poly United Methodist Church.

Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Meadowbrook Poly United Methodist Church.

Interment: 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her name may be given to Meadowbrook Poly United Methodist Church or the Wounded Warrior Project.
