Paula Matkin

Paula Matkin, 80, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Graveside Service: 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Paula was born on November 26, 1943 in Waco, Texas, to Luella and Daniel Garrett.  She worked for over 30 years in banking and retired from Wells Fargo.

Paula was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was s a devout Christian growing up in the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel John Matkin.

Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Don Matkin; her daughter, Lorri and husband, Richard, of Willis, Texas; her grandchildren, Seth and Jackson Schrock; and a host of extended family and friends.
